The webbing manufacturer, Mingjia Weaving String Co., Ltd, specializes in the R&D and manufacture of various webbing. Webbing need to be dyed, there is a specific color, and can not appear a variety of colors and so on, which is called dyeing. the degree of variation of dyeing state can be expressed by dyeing fastness. The dyeing fastness of fabrics is related to the types of fibers, yarn structure, fabric structure, dyeing methods, dyes and external forces. The test of color fastness generally includes light fastness, weather fastness, washing fastness, rubbing fastness, perspiration fastness, etc. Sometimes according to different textiles or different environments, there are some special requirements for color fastness.
Usually, the color fastness test is the degree of discoloration of the dyes and the staining degree of the lining. The color fastness rating is grade five except for the light fastness grade 8. The higher the grade is, the better the color fastness is.
Sunshine fastness: Sunshine fastness refers to the degree of discoloration of colored fabrics after sun. The test method is to compare the fading degree of the sample after simulated sun with the standard sample, which is divided into 8 grades, grades 8 is the best result, and grades 1 is the worst. Fabrics with poor fastness to sunlight should not be exposed to sunlight for a long time, and should be put in a ventilated place to dry in the shade.
Washing fastness: Washing fastness or soaping fastness refers to the degree of color change of dyed fabrics after washing with detergent. Generally, the grey grading sample card is used as the evaluation standard, that is, the color difference between the original sample and the faded sample is used to judge. The washing fastness is divided into five grades, the best is grade 5 and the worst is grade 1. Fabrics with poor washing fastness should be dry cleaned. If wet washing is carried out, more attention should be paid to washing conditions, such as washing temperature should not be too high and time should not be too long.
